Beast Fables - Comic 27 - The King blames Rey for his lack of meat in the cellar

Medieval Moment: Besides losing Rey her job, Gawreyn (or really, his namesake) is depicted as a very noble and courteous knight. Sir Gawain is known as one of the best knights of the Round Table, and as a defender of women and his king. Malory paints a less glamorous view of Gawain, where Gawain causes the fall of the round table and is embroiled in bitter wars with Lancelot before he dies. There are many stories that include Gawain, and his prominence in Arthurian literature is undeniable.
